Kind staff and nice welcoming. Feeling at home immedatiately. The roomwe had was broad with nice beds and good shower. Dining was great, simple, well prepared food on nice plates. The winechoice is excellent and affordable.
Happily we had our car with us, because you have to drive ca 15 minutes to the slopes. At the other hand: from this hotel you can choose from 3 slopes (Trysil, Sälen and border)

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options such as scrambled eggs and bacon. the staff was friendly and provided helpful information about the area. the hotel was conveniently located near a ski resort and a Co Op food store.
The hotel did not have an elevator, which was difficult with back problems or carrying heavy bags up the stairs. the drinks were expensive, but it is a common fact in Norway.

The double rooms at Kjolen Hotel Trysil are absolutely perfect for couples and adults looking to escape the everyday hustle. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and a great night's sleep. Plus, the new TV system with flat-screen TVs and 14 channels is a nice touch.
Personally, I found the TV system a bit overwhelming with all the channels, but I understand that others might enjoy having a variety to choose from.

The hotel is located in a charming village, with easy access to both Trysil and Salen. the recently renovated rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant is a convenient option for dinner. Guests can enjoy a warm, powerful shower with plenty of hot water, fast WiFi, and ample parking.
Some inconsiderate guests may cause noise issues due to the building's wooden structure.
